As a frontier city, is for many, the end of a narrow and homogeneous country. However, for others means a continuation or entrance to that South America rich in miscegenation and traditions. The cross-wise South America that knows no political borders and that allows itself to be swayed by the color of the bronzes that descends from the Andes all the way down to coast. Cultural and religious syncretism, here and now! In a country that has forgotten that the sacred and the festive go hand by hand in the CARNAVAL!!. “PACHAKUTI” (Quechua) Retorno al punto inicial de un ciclo.Este mural fue realizado en la ciudad de Arica, zona norte de Chile, lugar que como ciudad frontera, es para muchos el final de un país estrecho y homogéneo. Sin embargo, para otros es la continuación o puerta de entrada a aquella sudamerica rica en mestizaje y costumbres. La Sudamerica transversal que no reconoce fronteras políticas y se deja influenciar por el color de los bronces que bajan desde los andes a la costa. Sincretismo cultural y religioso, aquí y ahora!.. en un país que ha olvidado que lo sagrado y lo festivo van de la mano en el carnaval! – #artecallejerolatinoamerica
